EA has teased us with its first promotional image of its Outer Rim DLC for [Star Wars: Battlefront](tag:2684021). With the release of the image, EA have all but confirmed that Nien Nunb and Greedo will join Battlefront's roster of Heroes and Villains. In the photo in question, both Nien Nunb and Greedo are both positioned in the middle of an apparent siege on Jabba's Palace. Sure, this could just be the Sullustan and Rodian skins for the Rebel players, but the Rodian is firing towards the Sullustan, all but confirming their inclusion.

Check the image itself below:

For those who don't remember Nien Nunb was a Sulustan arms dealer and smuggler who was Lando Calrissian's co-pilot during the Battle of Endor. As if the picture wasn't enough confirmation for Nien Nunb's inclusion into the Battlefront roster, Outer Rim will introduce new maps on Sullust, Nien Nunb's home planet!

As for Greedo, he has been speculated for many months since it was announced that we would be receiving new villains with every expansion pass. Much like Nien Nunb, Greedo's introduction has been all but confirmed due to the characters arrival being alongside the addition of new Tatooine maps and the Jabba's Palace map!

With the inclusion of Jabba's palace, could we see the Hutt gangster appear in the upcoming DLC? Sure he wouldn't be playable, but even to see the crime lord appear in the game would be incredible! Since it has been confirmed that we can fight inside the palace itself, I myself would love to see the Rancor make an appearance! Imagine falling through a trap door and being fed to the beast! Hell, I wouldn't put it past the Rancor being used just like the AT-ST's in Walker Assault and Supremacy!

It's worth noting that every Expansion Pass has been confirmed to add new weapons and star cards. It is well known that Greedo uses the the DT-12 heavy blaster pistol. Capable of firing 50 shots and deadly at close range, the DT-12 could rival the DL-44 as the most powerful blaster in Battlefront, if it is included in the update with Greedo himself.

Check out our full breakdown of both the Outer Rim DLC and the upcoming March update!
