Pretty much a fan of all but if you come at me with horror I have a salt shaker and an iron rod and I'm not afraid to use them :D

I think it is safe to say that Harry Potter will always be a classic whether in print or on the big screen and although the series still, to this day, has a great influence on pop culture. One thing that seems too persinatnat to vanish into history is the need to sort characters from across the fandoms into the four hogwarts houses according to their specific films.

And, with Deadpool making an even bigger splash then expected, he was not spared the Potterheads' scrutiny. But, the true question is, where did the Sorting Hat put him?

You might belong in Gryffindor,

Where dwell the brave at heart,

Their daring, nerve, and chivalry

Set Gryffindors apart;

Brave and daring Deadpool truly is, but chivalrous? That might be pushing it slightly unless it involves something he himself cares about. Although he has nerve, is it enough for him and Harry to be sharing a dorm?

You might belong in Hufflepuff,

Where they are just and loyal,

Those patient Hufflepuffs are true

And unafraid of toil;

Well this might be a tough one to reason out, patient and just and unafraid of toil? Have you met Deadpool? But rather then possessing the desired Hufflepuff skills this house has always been associated, for some reason, with the underdogs of Hogwarts and if Deadpool isn't one that fights for these underdogs i don't know who is.

Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,

if you've a ready mind,

Where those of wit and learning,

Will always find their kind;

Although not a genius like Tony Stark, Deadpool does does have wit and the ability to get out of even the most difficult situations. Though I think he might drive poor Luna Lovegood slightly more loony, we could just see him in the Ravenclaw house colours.

Or perhaps in Slytherin

You'll make your real friends,

Those cunning folks use any means

To achieve their ends.

Ah! For some this may seem like the obvious choice, after all, Deadpool is the the ultimate antihero. He pretty much has all the traits of a Slytherin, maybe he'd be one of those crazy Slytherins who isn't fully evil?

Well, although ,we may speculate upon speculation in the 25th anniversary issue of Deadpool, fans were finally given an officially cannon answer in the form of the short comic slip below:

Were you laughing too hard at the scene to notice? Here's a zoom in of the cloak Deadpool is wearing, recognise which house colours those are?

He's wearing a yellow cloak! So there you have it! Deadpool is indeed a Hufflepuff! Stand clear Gryffindors and Slytherins, the real house champions have been found! The underdogs won't be so under for much longer with Deadpool leading the way.

In which Hogwarts House should Deadpool be sorted in?
