- 2 tickets to the comedy without swearing, dirty jokes and bed-scenes.
- I'm afraid we don't have this kind of movies...
Today, its very hard to find a comedy you can watch with children. Sometimes we want to see something more than "children's humor", but at the same time, the humor, that won't spoil your child. Thats why I made a list of comedies, which you can watch with a husband... and a child.
1. "Intern" - 2015
Director: Nancy Meyers
Cast: Anne Hathaway, Robert De Niro, Adam DeVine, Rene Russo etc.
Easy for understanding not only for adults, but also for their children. Comedy, that shows human abilities, no matter hold is he. Robert De Niro plays a role of a widower Ben Whittaker, who is not afraid to learn something new. This picture gives you motivation and teaches that "age is just a number".
P.S. - No, I am not a "Twilight" fan.
2. "Last Holiday" - 2006
Director: Wayne Wang
Cast: Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, Gérard Depardieu, Alicia Witt etc.
This movie was made for family watching. Relax on the couch and be ready to see the story of a woman, that was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Georgia Byrd (aka Queen Latifah) suddenly realized that she lived the wrong life. And her last days she wants to spend like a real queen. Funny, easy, tasty and very positive comedy.
3. "I Don't Know How She Does It" - 2011
Director: Douglas McGrath
Cast: Sarah Jessica Parker, Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear etc.
Who doesn't love movies with Sara J. P.? Actually, there are people who really does. In this movie she appears as a mother, woman with high-powered career and a lovely wife. And guess what? She does everything very good! Well... Almost good. I really don't know how she does it! She has a time to make important calls, take kids to school, give a kiss to her husband, leave notes for maid, make some dinner... GOD!
4. "RED" - 2010
Director: Robert Schwentke
Cast: Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman etc.
This movie will definitely be loved by men. It is an action genre, but despite this fact, you will find this movie very funny. No blood, pervert scenes or something else. Even their language is not very dirty. And look at that cast!
P.S. - women, there is a romance between main heroes... Don't miss the movie!
5. "Bride Wars" - 2009
Director: Gary Winick
Cast: Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Chris Pratt, Bryan Greenberg etc.
What happens when best friends get married... On the same day? I will tell you- apocalypse. Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) are friends from childhood and they have 1 same dream- be married in the summer in New York's famed Plaza Hotel. And their dream comes true... But not in the way they wanted. The dates of wedding were assigned on the same day. So the only exit- one of the brides must change the date. But who? Watch and you will know.
6. "Rush Hour" - 1998
Director: Brett Ratner
Cast: Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker, Julia Hsu etc.
Another action movie with a great sense of humor! Plot is not so funny- Chinese diplomat's daughter was kidnapped and our heroes' goal is to safe her. When your partner is Jackie Chan, seems like there is nothing you can be afraid of. BUT, if Chris Tucker accompanies you... His main weapon is not pistols- humor.
7. "Julie & Julia" - 2009
Director: Nora Ephron
Cast: Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Stanley Tucci, Chris Messina etc.
Another beautiful, TASTY comedy. Every woman can cook, some of them adores it. This picture tells us about Julie (Amy Adams) who's idol in cooking is Julia Child (Meryl Streep). She set a goal- cook everyday one of Julia's dishes. I must repeat: if you are hungry- don't watch it. Movie shows us a parallel between 2 period of times and, at the end, connects them. Sweet atmosphere and positive emotions are guaranteed.
8. "Big Momma's House 2" - 2006
Director: John Whitesell
Cast: Martin Lawrence, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nia Long etc.
Many of you know the movie about FBI agent (Martin Lawrence) and his Big Momma character. Well, here comes part 2! Now, Big Momma works as a babysitter and is spying on the head of the family. The troubles she (Big Momma) has with children, how she handles with house cleaning and stuff- every thing is good. And how she dances....
9. Confessions Of A Shopaholic" - 2009
Director: P. J. Hogan
Cast: Isla Fisher, Hugh Dancy, Krysten Ritter etc.
Don't lie that you never wanted to take a break from your work and rush into the shops and buy every thing on your way! Not only women dream about that. Our girl Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a shopaholic level GOD. But as each of us, she has a dream- work in Alette magazine. Sadly, the only vacation was taken right in the moment she entered the building of her dream. But she found an exit- magazine Successful Savings. How can a woman, who has a huge debt write about savings? This is the main topic.
10. "The Bucket List" - 2007
Director: Rob Reiner
Cast: Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson, Sean Hayes etc.
2 different people- billionaire Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) and car mechanic Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman). They didn't know about each other until... They both appeared in the same hospital, in one room. And guess what? They have a desire to complete their list of things that they want to do before death. Even though doctors were against their leaving, they left hospital. Adventurous, funny, motivational and sad. Movie that is worth watching.
