Warner Bros. is slated to bring The Justice League to the silver screen in 2017, but some of those super-suits still need to be filled.

24 and Lucifer actor D.B. Woodside has stated that he'd like to be considered for the role of John Stewart/Green Lantern after wearing a Green Lantern T-shirt to last year's San Diego Comic-Con:

"The whole series and the characters have always been one of my favorites. I grew up as a comic-book guy, so I love these characters. We're living in a superhero bubble right now that I am hoping will never burst. And, maybe I was wearing a Green Lantern t-shirt because I'm trying to get into the minds over at DC as they are looking for their Green Lantern. 'Open up and take a look at some others out here in Los Angeles.' That was my cheeky way of trying to influence them."

Neither DC nor Warner Brothers have stated whether they'll be going with a Hal Jordan or John Stewart's Green Lantern, but it seems likely that both heroes will get their chance eventually in the Green Lantern Corps movie, scheduled for June 2020. So maybe Woodside will get his chance, after all.

Who else is set to be a member of the iconic superhero force? Gal Gadot is set to play Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill will be Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.

Remember Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern? I know you don't want to, but here's a little reminder:
