Over the past few years, Nickelodeon has been cashing in on our collective nostalgia by rebroadcasting our childhood favorites like Rugrats and Rocko's Modern Life.

Now, the network is reviving more of its classics, but it's doing more than just airing old episodes.

Nickelodeon Is Making A Live-Action TV Movie Inspired By 'Legends Of the Hidden Temple'

My afternoons were defined by watching Kirk Fogg and Olmec guide kids through various challenges in this show, and at least half the time I ended up yelling at the screen when the final contestants failed to properly assemble the Shrine Of The Silver Monkey.

We can expect something very different this time around. In the fictional movie starring Isabela Moner, three siblings must overcome different obstacles all inspired by the original show. There will also be throwbacks to Olmec, the Steps Of Knowledge and, of course, all the colorful animals that emblazoned those memorable shirts.

We're Also Getting A Two-Part TV Movie Based On 'Hey Arnold!'

That's right! Football Head is coming back, too.

Unlike the approach to Legends Of The Hidden Temple, it seems that they Hey Arnold! will be animated in the same style as the TV show. We don't know much about the project yet, but more Helga Pataki in our lives is always a good thing.

Both Legends Of The Hidden Temple and the Hey Arnold! movies are slated to premiere in 2017.

Will you tune in for these TV events?
