The Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party is always guaranteed to be a star-studded event and this year was no different. One man in particular pretty much stole the show on Sunday night and that man, of course, was Leonardo DiCaprio. After his highly anticipated Best Actor win, Vanity Fair couldn't resist poking a little fun at the man of the hour.
They hit the red carpet, iPhone in hand, to give all of the (many) celebrities in attendance the opportunity to faceswap with Mr. DiCaprio himself - and the results are pretty funny. Some of the stars even offered an acceptance speech, Kate Upton threw some serious shade and Leonardo's mom revealed that this wasn't her first time. Larry David refused to participate, responding with a straightup 'no.'
Joe Sabia, who produced the video, said:
"I tried to convince celebrities to face swap Leonardo DiCaprio last night on the red carpet for the VF Oscars party, to produce this insanely creepy video starring Conan, Corden, Upton, Alba, Vince vaughn, Apatow, Patrick Stewart and others. Cannot begin to express how alive you feel being the subject of Larry David's cold, icy, unapologetically non-cooperative gaze. He wasn't having it.
Check out some of the highlights below.
"I'm very happy that I won this Oscar. I think I really deserved it for a movie that I barely spoke in."
"Leo's got a gap! Leo, looking good! Congratulations to yourself!"
"I knew this was foretold the minute I climbed inside that dead horse. I knew I was getting an Oscar."
"I'd like to thank the Academy, and I'd like to thank the other members of the Pussy Posse that helped me to get here."
