'Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?'

There are countless fan-castings floating around online, but designer and illustrator Peter Stults takes it to a whole new level. In his series, 'What If: Movies Reimagined,' the New Yorker takes modern movies and recasts them with classic actors and crew. To showcase his ideas, Peter creates amazing vintage posters for the films while somehow still managing to honor the original vision. He explains:

"The concept: films of a certain era belonging to another era and everything that would follow: who would be the stars, the filmmakers? How would the film be marketed? A lot of liberty and a lot of fun within the world of "What If.'"

Here are some of his greatest graphics.
