Batman V Superman is coming out in just a few weeks, on March 25th, 2016. With the battle royale being fought between the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight, it might be easy to forget the other member of the DC triumvirate, Wonder Woman.

The DC Marketing team has done a great job of keeping the information about Wonder Woman, in this film, to an absolute minimum, so I’ve pulled together everything we currently know about this character and put it into a single video.

The actress who plays Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, has told several different publications the following “Diana is 5000 years old, heals very quickly, and She has unbelievable endurance. She is exceptionally strong. She can jump really high, giving the impression that she's flying even when she's not. She know tons of martial arts styles. She is a strong and serious Woman.”

DC chief Geoff Johns previously told The CW that Diana Prince was born on an Amazonian island called Themyscira, saying, "These Amazons were once created to protect man's world, but they've since abandoned it. Diana will try to fight to help humans and this takes her on a journey into our world."

On the packaging for the bust of her character, the following text is written:

The world’s first and foremost female Super Hero, Wonder Woman at once embodies the unrivaled force and supreme grace of a born warrior, and the genuine compassion and understanding of a true humanitarian. As a symbol of equality, power, and truth, her natural confidence and unmistakable intelligence make her an unequalled, if unexpected, ally.

The immortal Amazonian Princess Diana keeps her eyes and ears open for intrigue as the beautiful and mysterious antiquities dealer, Diana Prince.

The Wonder Woman solo film, which is slated for release on June 23rd, 2017 has set the timeline to be during World War I, so the real question is what has she been doing for the past century or so. Especially where was she during the alien attack from the Kryptonians led by General Zod?
