We've seen the amazing Unreal Engine 4 being used to disturb the nostalgic centres of our brains by creating ludicrously detailed iterations of Sonic the Hedgehog, Spyro the Dragon and other iconic icons of gaming yesteryear.
But what about the TV shows of our youth and the legendary characters they conjured up? Slotting right next to the badass VR iteration of Jerry Seinfeld's apartment comes a beautiful and intricately rendered version of Monica Geller's apartment from Friends. And it is really rather nice.
Created as a university project over the course of three months, the detail in this render is unbelievable; right down to the labels on food cans and photographs on the refrigerator. But, possibly unfortunately, there's no Ugly, Naked Guy loitering in windowpanes.

Despite how incredible this is, I can't help but wonder what it would be like if other locations from my favorite shows were given the Unreal treatment, like:
Well this is a total no-brainer. Who wouldn't want to wander the hallowed halls of Firefly's Serenity?
742 Evergreen Terrace
I, for one, would love to watch TV from The Simpsons' sofa.
Because who wouldn't want to be "The One Who Knocks"?
The Tree Fort
Because adventurous times aren't just reserved for boys and their badass doggy pals.
Where would you like to visit?
