(Warning - the following could be considered to contain mild potential SPOILERS for the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Proceed with whatever level of caution that suggests to you is wise...)
Now, with a title like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it's not all that surprising that the bulk of the film's promotional material thus far has focused on the titular duo's battling and bantering. Whether it's the pair squaring off over a totaled Batmobile, or simply eyeing each other up at a swanky dinner, everything we've seen in the trailers so far suggests a movie dominated by Batman and Superman going at it.
As it turns out, though...
'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Might Feature a Whole Lot Less Batman v Superman Than We Originally Thought
Y'see, according to Ben 'Batman' Affleck's recent interview with French magazine Premiere, he and Henry 'Superman' Cavill didn't actually spend all that much time filming together. As he put it:
"It is a continuation of Man of Steel, so I came to the world of Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill...In fact, we didn't share many scenes. With Henry, it was a little the night shift and the day shift: We crossed with our suits, as if we worked in the same company but we didn't hang around so often together. On the other hand, when we were in the same sequences, there was something electric."
Which, it seems, suggests that less is going to have to be more - which would be a whole lot more worrying were what we've seen so far of the pair's confrontations not so distinctly awesome-seeming...
The best part?
The movie'll be here in just three short weeks - which means it's officially time to start getting over-excited...
What do you reckon, though?
Just how much screen-time do you want Batman and Superman to share in the movie?
