It would appear that John Boyega, the actor who plays Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens was left wanting more from EA's Star Wars: Battlefront.
John Boyega, who is without doubt the world’s most famous Stoomtrooper (apart from that one who bumped his head that time) has taken to Twitter to ask EA publically what lies ahead for Battlefront in terms of narrative.
EA were quick to respond to the star with a counter question. The gaming giants wanted to know if Finn - I mean - Boyega had got around to playing the missions yet.
Boyega revealed that he had played the missions - and even though stating that he thought they were great - they still left him wanting more from the game. A feeling that he shares with 99.9 percent of the gaming world.
The conversation between the two interstellar stars must have gone down well as it even finished with a date being arranged. Boyega asked EA if he was able to visit the UK headquarters, to which they obviously responded to with, yes!
Looks like EA will be getting tips from a real life Stoomtrooper!
The likelihood is that [Star Wars: Battlefront](tag:2684021) itself will never feature any real form of narrative aside from the ‘missions’ segment. The game has already shipped well over 13 Million copies since release, EA have no real need to put resources back into such a resoundingly successful title.
The promise definitely lies within future titles. The company have stated that there will be a lot more to come from the franchise and have even gone as far as to publically state that they will be committed to the Star Wars gaming universe for next decade - they have already teased new open-world concepts for their next Star Wars game.
So, with the backing of the stars themselves, it is looking increasingly likely that the next Star Wars instalment to come from EA will feature a single player, offline story mode.
Excited? What do you want from the next Star Wars game?
