In my own personal experience, there's never been a more impactful or perfect launch title than The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii. The console was so hyped, the new control systems were astounding to my younger self and Twilight Princess was a dream to engage with. It's one of the best Zelda games ever made and now The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is set to release for the Nintendo Wii U on Friday the 4th of March.

Twilight Princess will be a brief and beautiful distraction from the fact that The Legend of Zelda Wii U is due to arrive in 2016 (and we've been living without any news for an extraordinarily long time). However, Nintendo seem to be keen on teasing us as they've included some easter eggs in Twilight Princess HD that you should definitely check out!

Youtuber HMK was lucky enough to bask in the glory of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD a few days early. Since then, he's been frolicking around Hyrule enjoying some of the new sights the game has to offer. Suddenly, he happened upon a nice little easter egg that referenced the next installment in this beloved franchise. He discovered that on the walls of Chudley’s Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium inside of Castle Town are virtual paintings of Zelda Wii U art.

Damn those walls like fine and Zelda Wii U art only beautifies them further. But this wasn't the only image. There were numerous art pieces around these walls that mirrored the art work that Nintendo revealed for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda game. Nintendo Life have graciously made a video for us all that shows off the art work in real time. Doesn't Twilight Princess look great?!

Could Zelda Wii U Release On The NX Too?

Seeing as we're still stuck with the title 'Zelda Wii U' for Nintendo's upcoming game, we're all fairly certain that it'll arrive on this console in 2016. But what if that wasn't the only console it could appear on?

Twilight Princess was simultaneously a launch title for the Nintendo Wii and a regular release for the Gamecube. Perhaps the delay of The Legend of Zelda Wii U has something to do with its arrival on the secret NX console? Who knows! But we'd like to hear your theories in the comments below!
