The Exploits and Adventures of a guy who loves Pixar and Marvel on a journey to becoming an Orlando-Floridian filmmaker. You think you know what I can do? Then, you ain't seen nothing yet!

I've been waiting for Disney to confirm a Big Hero 6 TV show for about as long as Pixar fans have been waiting for Brad Bird to work on a sequel to The Incredibles.

Like I said, "Big Hero 6" is one of my favorite Disney movies right up there with "Wreck-It Ralph" and "Bolt". The show that Disney is going to air on Disney XD in 2017 is just what I thought the premise would be, the Big Hero 6 fighting new super villains and dealing with life on and off campus.

And it gets even better, the creators of the show are none other than...

Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle, the creators of...

YES! Joe and Anthony Russo, eat your heart Out!

Now, if there's anything and I do mean anything I want to see in the show, it would have to be 4 things...

1. Animation that isn't like the Marvel Animated Shows of today

If there is one thing that shows like Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and Guardians of the Galaxy have been criticized for, it would have to be the animation. I am fully aware that the animation on those shows are done by the studio who worked on the movie, "Man of Action Studios" and while they really know what they're doing with CGI, it doesn't mean that with 2D it's good that they have a 'Boondocks'-style look to them when they make faces.

And while I highly doubt that they'll use cheap CG (in fact I can't recall the last time Disney used that in any of their shows) or the cheap flash like in their online games, I'm sure that with Bob and Mark in charge, they'll utilize the same animation like with "Kim Possible".

2. The reprise of the cast from the movie

While I can be OK with sound-a-likes sometimes (i.e. Jim Hanks as Woody in video games, Disney On Ice and Toy Story Mania) and I do have an appreciation for professional voice over actors, it's not like Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, Damon Wayans, Jr., Jamie Chung, T.J. Miller or Genesis Rodriguez are busy with anything else. Although "Gravity Falls" did wrap up last month... *cough* 30 Rock *cough* Jane The Virgin *coughcough*

Sorry, allergies are kicking in...

3. More character development for Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Gogo and Fred

Now, I know we're already gonna get this in the series but I've been really interested in learning more about these characters ever since I saw the movie in theaters. And if I had to pick a favorite "Big Hero 6" character that isn't Hiro or Baymax, it would have to be Honey Lemon. I just think she's kinda cute...

Anyway, Fred would be a close second because who DOESN'T love this guy? He's voiced by T.J. Miller, he's really rich, he has a mascot costume of a kaiju that can breath fire and he is the son of Stan "The Man" Lee! While I think it would be a bit much to have Stan Lee do voices for the show, it would be nice to have him do a cameo or two and for some of the Fred episodes to explore more with the scene after the credits.

And last but NEVER the least...

4. Some episodes that involve Hiro having a crush on Honey Lemon

I know these things are cliched but what can I say, I'm a real sucker for these kinds of subplots in cartoons airing on TV today. Not to mention that it's also one of my favorite pairings in media (canon or not).

So, there you go! Those are my thoughts on "Big Hero 6" getting a TV series next year, it's about time we got there and it will be not only one of the greatest movie-based cartoons we got in a long time but also one of the greatest modern cartoons airing on TV.
