If you've been missing Making a Murderer, you'll be glad to hear that miscarriages of justice are totally in this season: Universal Cable are bringing The Von Bülow Affair to TV.

UCP's Dawn Olmstead said:

“The story of the Von Bülows will go down in history as one of the most sensational scandals in American high society. We look forward to delving deeper into this true crime story that still leaves us cold today.”

EW describe the scintillating premise of real life scandal The Von Bülow Affair:

Published in 1983 by playwright William Wright, 'The Von Bülow Affair' follows the attempted murder trial of British socialite Claus von Bülow. His wife Sunny was found unconscious in December 1980 after an insulin overdose and stayed in a coma for 27 years. Claus was arrested and subsequently convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison in 1982. However, Von Bülow’s conviction was ultimately overturned. In a second trial in 1985, he was found not guilty.
