Get ready for a little bit of envy, because Deviantart user Artgerm's portraits of various comic book characters will have you questioning your own ability to draw a stick figure.

An illustrator, designer, concept artist, creative director, and co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studios, the awe-inspiring creator behind Artgerm works for entertainment industry mega-companies such as Capcom, DC Comics, and Square Enix. He even offers a 12-month training program leading to a diploma in digital design on his Deviantart page, if you want to (try to) get closer to such portrait awesomeness.

The most fascinating thing about his work is probably the number of different characters — which leaves very little chance that you won't spot a favorite.

And the most touching one, a side-by-side comparison of a drawing he first did in 1988, and his second take on it in 2016
