Hello dearies! I am here to tell a tale of an event called the Disney Games. 12 badass females from Disney's best films will enter the arena to fight to the —wait, can I say death? Is that too morbid? They are Disney characters after all. Fine. They fight to get a satisfying ending for their individual films. Better? Anyways... I will be listing my 12 feisty Disney heroines who I think could hold their own if they entered the Hunger Games arena. Bibbidi bobbidi boo, may the odds be ever in their favor!
District 1: Jasmine from 'Aladdin'
She definitely falls into the luxury district. Jasmine is clever and sneaky, and has a pet tiger, so she knows how to tame a wild animal. Jasmine is excellent at disguising herself based on the environment she is in, like when she disguised herself as a normal citizen on the streets of Agrabah. In her film, she even managed to trick Jafar by seducing him with her charm, which is an important attribute for attracting sponsors to donate items to her in the arena.
District 2: Snow White from 'Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs'
Now, I know what you are thinking? What is she doing on this list? Well, to be honest, I have no clue either. But she is because of her backstory on the hit TV show Once Upon a Time. Her character on the show and her character in Snow White And The Huntsman are way different than her portrayal in the animated film. She knows how to use a bow and arrow and she is not afraid to get her hands dirty to steal anything to better her odds. Do not underestimate her.
District 3: Vanelope from 'Wreck It Ralph'
Glitches and all, Vanelope is a force to be reckoned with. She belongs in the technology district because, well, she lives in a video game. Literally. I am not kidding. She is a video game character. Even with her glitch, she embraces what makes her unique to power her way to the top. When everyone counted her out, she showed who was the true badass and won her way to respect and stardom. All hail Princess Vanelope!
District 4: Mulan from 'Mulan'
Of course Mulan makes the list! She is probably the most badass Disney princess out there. Mulan disguised her gender to save her father from being conscripted into a war and toughened up to save her country. Any challenge can be overcome if Mulan is attempting it. No one in the arena will be able to match her swordsmanship.
District 5: Elsa from 'Frozen'
Elsa has true power, so she belongs in District 5. Her snowy powers will be a great asset for when she is brought into the games. She is used to having so many people against her but in the end, she always comes out victorious and better than ever. Her love for isolation and alone time will be important in the arena. After all, there can only be one winner.
District 6: Kim Possible from 'Kim Possible'
Danger or trouble, she's there on the double, you know you can always call Kim Possible! Easily the best female Disney show character, Kim Possible makes winning the Hunger Games look as simple as saving the world. She's beautiful, savvy, and can be in the right place at the right time whenever she needs to be. No problem can't be solved by Kim Possible.
District 7: Go Go Tomago from 'Big Hero 6'
Something about her just screams winner of the Hunger Games. Her style, attitude, and personality make her a tribute that cannot be stopped. Even without powers, she found a way to defeat a supervillain. She will not need her team to be the last lady standing. Plus, I think most of the girls will be scared of her so that will help her in the end.
District 8: Rapunzel from 'Tangled'
With a frying pan in one hand and her hair in the other, Rapunzel will swing into victory. She took a rebel out twice with her frying pan and knows how to use it wisely. Who needs a man to save her? Not Rapunzel. She literally saved herself in the end of the film. Her long blonde hair will be a huge advantage in the arena when it comes to healing any of her allies or herself. She will be serving some badass justice when she enters the games.
District 9: Sally from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'
Sally will eat up the competition. With her smart and clever ways of cooking, she can make any tribute fall under her spell. She may not be able to defend herself physically but she can trick the other tributes into eating up one of her poisonous broths. Worm's Wart soup anyone? She is also never afraid to take out her stitches to lose a limb or two to make it far.
District 10: Merida from 'Brave'
Merida is the most relatable to Katniss and that is exactly why she made the list. She knows how to use a bow and arrow and is not afraid to go against society's expectations to get what she wants. Plus, her green dress will allow her to easily camouflage herself in a forest environment. And another plus, she is a huntress, which means plenty of meals for her.
District 11: Pocahontas from 'Pocahontas'
Pocahontas is a true fighter. She is not afraid to protect her people, even if it means the act of betrayal. The Native American goddess knows what would be poisonous and what would not be in the arena and can for sure blend into any environment. I would never count her out. Plus, she is phenomenal with animals and nature itself. I would make sure to place bets on her.
District 12: Violet from 'The Incredibles'
Invisibility will be Violet's greatest strength and a force field can protect her from anything that comes her way. She may not be able to fight, but she can protect anyone trying to harm her. Violet has the name of a winner. Let's just hope she does not fumble under pressure.
