The excitement of people for Phase 3 might be the beginning, but the ranting post and list of Phase 4 has only just begun. Here is my list of superheroes that need to appear in the Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
1. The Punisher
The Punisher is one of Marvel's most iconic and prominent anti-heroes. His expertise with guns and his Batman-esq like attitude (also, his homicidal nature) would make a perfect addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Punisher is a vigilante who employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his war on crime. Driven by the deaths of his wife and two children, who were killed by the mob during a shootout in New York City's Central Park, the Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals in general by using all manner of conventional war weaponry. His family's killers were the first to be slain.
Possible cast: Liam Neeson as The Punisher
2. Cloak and Dagger
Everyone's favorite duo who they mistake as a couple. The team is composed of Tandy and Tyrone, both are (debatable) mutant runaway children who possess a cloak that can open to another dimension of darkness (Cloak) and the ability to create throwing knives out of lights (Dagger). The reason why I added them is to give light of their stance against The Superhero Registration Act. Also, I think it's about time they make a C&D movie.
Possible Cast: Dayo Okineiyi as Cloak; Leven Rambin or Diana Agron as Dagger
Possibly one of the most anticipated shelved Marvel movie to date, The Runaways are a group of children who runaway from their homes to fight back their parents after learning they are a group of villains. A lot of fans of the book, as well as other Marvel fans, are agreeing that the famous YA graphic novel should be Marvel's next big project.
Possible Cast: Mae Whitman as Gertude Yorkes; Shailene Woodley as Karolina Dean; Alexander Ludwig as Chase Stein; Carlos Knight as Alex Wilder; Kiki Sukezane as Nico Minoru; Keke Palmer as Xavin; Morgan Lily as Molly Hayes; Dee Bradley Baker as Old Lace (voice); Blake Lively as Leslie Dean; Ty Simpkins as Harley Keener
Technically, Kabuki is from their imprint: Icon Comics. However, with Big Hero Six not being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kabuki is the closest thing I've got to take Big Hero Six's place. Having Kabuki in the MCU might be a big risk, but that's Marvel's specialty (considering Big Hero Six and Guardians of The Galaxy were also Disney's and Marvel's risk at the time of the production). The Kabuki story could pay off.
Possible Cast: Rila Fukushima, Tao Yamamoto, Kou Shibasaki, Chiaki Kuriyama or Namie Amuro as Kabuki
5. Triumph Division
If you guys don't know the Triumph Division, they are Philippines' premier superhero group. The reason why I added them is to give light to the scenario where the Superhero Registration Act (or a similar Law) is enacted upon a country where crime and hardships is widespread. I also added them to give light to current situations of the country, as well as other nation who are facing similar problems with The Philippines. Either way, I'm willing to see a political movie disguised as a superhero movie.
Possible Cast: John Arcilla as Red Feather; Carla Abellana as Red Feather II; DingDong Dantes as St. George II; Regine Velasquez as Mighty Mother II; Bianca Umali or Maine Mendoza as Anituin II; Aljur Abrenica as Fighter One II; Julian Trono as The Wishing Man II; Ruru Madrid as The Great Mongoose; Chris Hemsworth as Thor; Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/IronMan
6. Squirrel Girl
What's a Marvel Movie without a little humor? Squirrel Girl would be an excellent movie about heroes being light-hearted in nature as well as being silly-yet-action packed. With Squirrel Girl having a movie, this would paved the way for a Great Lakes Avengers movie (if anyone is interested, at least).
Possible Cast: Anna Faris as Squirrel Girl
7. Young Avengers
What do you do when the Avengers disassembles? Create another Avengers, of course. All you have to do is call Iron Lad and he'll create one right away.
