If you're reading this article, I am assuming that you have seen both seasons of Daredevil & Jessica Jones. So this goes without saying but you are now entering SPOILER TERRITORY.

With season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil right around the corner, speculation of who we might see appearing from Netflix's sister series Jessica Jones is a heavy topic of discussion. Will we see Jones herself, perhaps Luke Cage who debuted in this series as well? Below are a few of the characters we won't be surprised to see pop up very soon.

A Formidable Foe

My first choice for a probable cameo is Will Simpson, a.k.a. Nuke. The last we saw of this character left things unclear, as we are aware that he is out there in Hell's Kitchen still but we do not know what side he is on exactly. In the comics, Nuke is a character who was a failed attempt at another super soldier like Steve Rogers. It is likely that he would a villain, although I think Simpson could be redeemed. Sure, he killed some of the good guys in Jessica Jones, but I believe that whoever is administering his blues and reds has brainwashed him as well. I do not think we have seen the last of of this character!

A Possible Ally

Another likely option would be Jeri Hogarth, played by Carrie Anne Moss. This is a pretty obvious one. With Matt and Foggy being lawyers, meeting a fellow lawyer in New York seems pretty likely (especially in the MCU). I think it would be an interesting dynamic, not particularly for the hero aspect of the series but for the courtroom drama perhaps. We did not witness Matt and Foggy take on a case in court during the first season of Daredevil, so seeing them work with or against a veteran lawyer would be very interesting to see. Maybe she needs a pair of cheap lawyers to defend her fiancee?

A New Face Altogether?

Yes, I know. Tom Holland as Spiderman has yet to appear in any marketing/pictures of him as the web slinger. Yet, all that occurs in New York City is somehow connected, especially with the MCU. Now, just picture for a moment: Peter Parker now works at the Bugle, or at the same publisher as the late Ben Eurich. He doesn't even have to don the outfit, just a quick nod to whats on the horizon for our beloved MCU.

Although this is all merely speculation, seeing these characters interact with Matt Murdock would make a great deal of sense. Is this just a fanboy's wet dream, or can we see our favorite web slinger two months earlier then expected? Let us know what you think below!
