With a little over a month until the Season 6 premiere of Game Of Thrones, the deadline to place your bets regarding the fate of Jon Snow is drawing near.
Despite months of rumors and sightings of Kit Harington on set in Belfast, the Game Of Thrones actor and 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch is still standing firm that Jon Snow will not rise from the dead, contrary to popular beliefs.
In an interview with Time Out London, Harington confirmed that Jon Snow is officially dead and gone, and won't be returning to Westeros in the upcoming season:
"I'm not in the show anymore. I'm definitely not in the new series."
He went on to say that he had, in fact, been filming on set, but he was only filming his death scenes:
"I filmed some scenes of me being dead."
Sadly, he also has no idea what is going to happen in Season 6. When asked if he had any idea what fans could expect to see in the coming episodes, he said he only knows his own timeline as a dead body:
"I don't have a clue. I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"
Harington can say he's not returning as much as he wants, but I still believe he's coming back with a complicated little theory called R + L = J, or the help of our good friend Melisandre. I choose to believe Harington is just trying to throw us off the scent. More like Kit Red-Harington, amiright?
'Game Of Thrones' returns to HBO on April 24
Do you still think Jon Snow is coming back?
