Arnie, don't prey on our emotions like this!

In this reboot-heavy and sequel-happy age, it seems only natural that every film franchise that was once successful will be floated for a comeback. For Fox, that means another sequel for the unforgettable Predator franchise, but there's one question that's really nagging fans: Will Arnold Schwarzenegger reprise his role as Dutch?

Now, Arnold Himself Is Stoking The Possibility Of His Return

A fansite called The Arnold Fans spoke to its hero, and he admitted that he has a meeting planned with Shane Black, the man tapped to write and direct The Predator:

"I haven’t talked with [Shane Black] yet but I’m going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon. Just as soon as I’m finished with this [Arnold’s Sports Festival] and 'The Apprentice' and all this stuff. But I will get together with him. If there is any news, we’ll of course let you know right away. There’s also a meeting coming up soon about Conan, about the project moving forward."

This is the best sign yet for a Dutch return. Though he led the team in the original film, Arnie opted never to come back for the franchise's many sequels. But that could all change if this meeting with Black goes well.

The Predator is set for release on March 2, 2018.

Would you see another Predator movie?
