Robert Pattinson gained a legion of fans for portraying Edward Cullen in the Twilight series, but it looks like acting isn't his only skill.
The 29-year-old's former co-star, Kellan Lutz, who played Emmett Cullen in the vampire saga, Tweeted his support for R-Patz's musical endeavors recently.
A "Beautiful Song"
Along with the cover of "Never Think," a song Pattinson produced as part of the Twilight soundtrack, Kellan urged his friend to release more music to a worldwide audience. He Tweeted:
The pair clearly still share a close bond, despite their last appearance on screen appearing in Breaking Dawn Part 2 in 2012.
A Musical Talent
Lutz definitely has a point. Pattinson is a skilled musician who can play the piano and guitar, as well as provide vocals. For the Twilight soundtrack, he co-wrote "Never Think" and also worked on "Let Me Sign."
On top of that, he contributed three original songs to the low budget 2008 independent flick, How To Be.
In an interview with the LA Times in 2008, the acting sensation admitted that music was always a back-up plan should his film career falter. He said:
"I’m not going to be doing any music videos or anything. Music is my backup plan if acting fails. I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket."
