Details surrounding the anticipated crossover between CBS' Supergirl and The CW's The Flash have been kept under wraps for some time now, but the secrecy has come to an end.

To promote the episode, CBS released a promotional poster, which pays homage to a race between the Man of Steel and The Fastest Man Alive, as well as the synopsis for the crossover episode, "Worlds Finest."

“Worlds Finest” – Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, March 28 (8:00-9:00 PM) on the CBS Television Network. Grant Gustin crosses over as The Flash.

With Barry and the gang at Star Labs trying to find a way to get back to Earth-2 to defeat Zoom once and for all, it is entirely possible that the Scarlet Speedster slipped up on his alternate universe jumping, and found himself stranded on Supergirl's universe.

Of course, since Supergirl has never heard of The Flash, it it isn't entirely out of the question to see a battle between the Girl of Steel and The Scarlet Speedster, since neither hero knows whether they are staring at a foe, or ally.

While some may be disappointed to learn that Supergirl isn't exactly a part of the Flarrowverse, it does reveal the fact that The Flash can technically crossover to any DC show, on any network, without disrupting said show's storyline. "Worlds Finest" is set to air on March 28 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Who would win in a fight? Supergirl or The Flash?
