Last Saturday, we got some very sad news in the form of a Facebook post by Joseph Gordon-Levitt saying he was pulling out of the movie adaptation of the famous Sandman comic written by Neil Gaiman. Gordon-Levitt also said that he and the studio didn't see,"eye to eye," on the project, and after several years of development, both he and New Line Cinema had different ideas about, "what makes 'Sandman' special."
