The studio behind the Dead Rising sequel has today shared some grizzly behind the scenes shots from their set in Vancouver - I didn't know zombies liked soup - someone might want to tell Rick Grimes.
Dead Rising: End Game, the sequel to 2015's [Dead Rising: Watchtower](tag:3567870) has already begun filming. Today, Legendary Digital Media took to Twitter to showcase some of their latest gruesome characters.
These brilliant images showcase a deliciously gory selection of the professional undead as well as lead actor Jesse Metcalfe (Carter).
We also get to see a large pile of money - rubber band cash!
And a large stash of cocaine – just in case the actors get bored during their down time. I am joking; these are just props from off the set.
Back to the star - a look at Metcalfe kicking back playing the Dead Rising game – don’t overdo it, Jesse.
Dead Rising: Endgame drops us back into a volatile zombie-infested world - where reporter Chase Carter fights his way through corrupt generals and hoards of infected in order to uncover a secret government conspiracy and of course, save the world.
Endgame also welcomes the return of Keegan Connor Tracy (Once Upon a Time) and producer Jordan Blair. Patrick Sabongui (The Art of More) also returns but in an all new ass kicking, zombie munching, video game loving action hero role.
No sign of Billy Zane (Zoolander 2) in the images either – Zane plays the role of an evil scientist employed by the government to find a cure but is using his position for much more sinister purposes.
Dead Rising: Endgame is slated for release this summer. It will release via Sony's streaming service Crackle.
Ready for more zombie action? What did you make of Watchtower and will you be watching End Game?
