John Carpenter has done just about everything in the horror genre — writing, directing, producing and composing cult classics like The Thing (1982) and Halloween (1978). Now he's put together a new album of horror soundtracks called Lost Themes II and he'll be taking it on tour all over Europe and the USA.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the song 'Angels Asylum' is a nod to the Asylum comic books that Carpenter created with Sandy King, take a listen below to get the feel of Carpenter's iconic musical talents:

Carpenter says:

“Angel’s Asylum” has a driving rock sound and is more reminiscent of my later work. We initially started writing it for the comic book and we liked it so much we decided to put it on the album..."

This is his third album, after Lost Themes (2015) and the remixed version of Lost Themes (October 2016).
