Robert Downey Jr. knows all about addiction, having started experimenting with drugs at six years old before spiraling out of control in the '90s.
RDJ has been clean since 2003, so I can only imagine how painful it must be to see his firstborn son Indio battle his own demons. Throughout his son's recovery, RDJ has been by his side, hoping that Indio can also live a fulfilled and sober life.
Taking to Facebook, RDJ wrote a touching tribute about his son, in which he expressed how proud he is that Indio has overcome his addiction and is focusing on his music:
If you're interested in checking out Indio's band The Dose, be sure to preview their new song "Cold Hands" on iTunes.
If this isn't the sweetest thing, then I don't know what is! We hope Indio continues to create more music with The Dose and continues making healthy choices. With the support of his No. 1 fan, his father, I imagine he will continue to come out on top.
