Harry Styles is making his way to the big screen (and this time, not in a concert movie).
One Direction's resident heartthrob has been cast in Christopher Nolan's upcoming World War II action-drama Dunkirk. According to Deadline, this will not be a lead role, but it's difficult to know for sure, with plot and details being kept tightly under wraps.
Like any Nolan production, he's keeping his cards close to his chest, but we do know bits and pieces of what to expect. The narrative will confront the 1940 evacuation of Dunkirk, France, a pivotal moment in the Second World War when a British military operation saved an estimated 330,000 Allied soldiers from the German army.
Though the cast consists largely of unknowns, Kenneth Branagh, Tom Hardy and recent Oscar-winner Mark Rylance are all part of the ensemble.
Dunkirk is expected to land in theaters on July 21, 2017.
