Yes, you did read that headline correctly. One Direction singer, and all round global superstar, Harry Styles will be joining the cast of Christopher Nolan's upcoming World War 2 drama, Dunkirk.
The Dark Knight director will once again joins forces with Warner Bros. for his next cinematic outing. A WW2 drama, the film will reportedly center on the British military evacuation of the French city of Dunkirk in 1940.
According to Deadline, the pop idol will be making his acting debut alongside an ensemble of relatively unknown actors. Fear not though, there will be some star power with Oscar winning Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hardy all confirmed to be starring alongside the One Direction star.
Styles of course has got time on his hands following the bands hiatus following the end of their tour. With each member off to work on solo projects, it looks like Styles may have chosen to go down the path of acting.
