The DCEU will officially be kicking off in a couple a weeks with the Dark Knight and the Man Of Steel facing off in Dawn Of Justice. This will also be the stage for the Justice League's introduction in what are said to be only cameos. If its just cameos we will still finally see Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, and possibly Green Lantern before they go off into their solo films. We still however will get a big team up movie before we see our heroes embark in their own films, when Justice League Part One rolls out in 2017. The big question everyone has however is will it follow the dark and gritty path that Batman V Superman seems to be taking us in? We just might have an answer now coming from producer Chris Terrio who spoke to the WSJ, and he had this to say about Justice League's tone.

I expect Justice League will be tonally not quite as dark as Batman v Superman. From that point of view, I felt compelled to go back and try to lift us and myself into a different tonal place because I think when you write a darker film, sometimes you want to redeem it all a bit.

Apparently DC is taking a much lighthearted approach when it comes to Justice League as opposed to the grittiness we see from Batman V Superman. It does however make a lot of sense when you have characters such as The Flash who is pretty much the heart of the Justice League. If they do in fact go with a much lighter tone in Justice League I think they might be hitting a spot many fans never thought DC would hit. Man of Steel was a hit or miss for many due to how somber it felt to a lot of people and now Batman V Superman is following the same feeling.

I think switching it up for Justice League would be a really good way to bring back fans who want a more lighter tone. Especially with characters like The Flash and Shazam who bring so much charisma whenever they have screen time. Although Shazam is yet to be announced we are positive The Flash will appear in the film. Justice League has only confirmed Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg to team up so we are still waiting for Green Lantern in the mix as well. We also have yet to find out who will be the main antagonist or antagonists in the film. I'm pretty sure however once Batman V Superman is released we will find out a bit more as to what lays ahead for our League of heroes. If the tone does in fact change I will appreciate them trying new things but will you?
