I like a good home invasion film, You're Next, The Strangers, Torment. So I was pretty excited for Intruders when I read the synopsis. A young woman named Anna suffers from agoraphobia. On the day of her brother's funeral, three men break into her house, leaving her trapped inside. As the men search the house and finally speak with Anna, they learn she may not be what she seems.
Overall, this is an okay film. I think it started out interesting, but about halfway through turns a bit dull. I feel the plot could have used a bit more work. There wasn't much of a scare element to this film. When I first heard about this film I was hoping for a female lead like Erin from You're Next, but got something completely different. The acting was pretty mediocre and emotionless. If you get a chance to see this film, let me know what you thought. Next up I'll be reviewing the babysitter horror film Emelie.
