Warner Brothers has put a lot of time, effort, and especially money in the upcoming 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. I'm pretty sure a couple of months ago, he (Ben Affleck) was talking about the amount of pressure he was under for this movie to achieve 'The Avengers' like numbers (I'm paraphrasing). But maybe after a few strong test screenings ahead of the release date --- help build Big Ben's confidence in the subject matter. Let's see what he had to say to The LA Times:

“Nobody tweeted about Casablanca, and look at how they did. [Laughs] From directing movies myself, at this point I always feel too enmeshed with it, where I get this panicked sense of like, ‘Is it good? It’s horrible, right? It’s going to bomb.’ But I have a little more sense of remove from this. I feel relaxed and I’m proud of the movie and excited for people to see it. It’s a much nicer feeling. I’m so glad I’m not Zack.”

I don't know about you, but I am extremely excited of the upcoming movie; and I cannot wait to see his take on the Caped Crusader. I can't help but wonder, if he directs the new Batman movie --- I wonder how nervous he would be before that?

On a quick side note, I looked for a nice picture of Ben relaxing --- I am not joking, almost every picture on Google, he looked like the picture above. I just watched him on Jimmy Kimmel and he seemed relax. So, I don't think he's just telling people what they want to hear, but you never know.

As of now, the box-office projections for the movie are at an acceptable level for Warner Brothers to be happy. Deadpool blew those expectations out of the water with its opening weekend: due to word of mouth about how awesome of a movie it turned out to be!

Anthony Breznican from EW, had some amazing things to say about the movie on his Twitter account after he saw it on March 3rd:

1. If you loved Man of Steel, you'll love Bvs 2. If you love Man of Steel, but not the end -- BvS may redeem that 3.If you hated Man of Steel and the whole grim/dark thing, okay, probably not for you 4. Wonder Woman is fearsome 5.There's a moment between Batman and Superman that make the most cynica eye tear-up 6. Fans will have a lot to discuss (and fight over)

I know this is only one man's opinion, but I was in the group that really did enjoy Man of Steel! So for me, what Ben Affleck said in this article makes me even more confident heading into the final stretch to finally see Batman v Superman!
