If Daredevil and Jessica Jones proved anything, it's that Marvel superheroes look pretty bad ass in their TV adaptations. I'm not saying Agents of Shield or Agent Carter is bad, it's just that the Marvel-Netflix series are much, much better.

September 30 will mark the premiere of Netflix's next Marvel show, Luke Cage. After that we're going to have Iron Fist, and finally The Defenders. The superhero mania doesn't stop here though: Daredevil season 2 premieres Friday March 18th, and Jessica Jones is already renewed for season 2.

This clearly shows how successful these shows have been, and how much Netflix is interested in collaborating with Marvel even more.

Now enough talking, let's get listing!

5: Elektra

Elektra as seen in Marvel Comics.
Elektra as seen in Marvel Comics.

She is a love interest of the superhero Daredevil, but her violent nature and mercenary lifestyle divided the two.She is, Elektra.

Elektra is just a complete bad-ass,The character is a highly trained assassin of Greek descent who wields a pair of bladed sai as her trademark weapon. If this doesn't yell TV Series, i don't know what does.

In all seriousness now, Elektra has been through it all with Daredevil in the comics. From battling Bullseye, to The Hand, to Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin. There was even one time Elektra was hired by Kingpin to kill Daredevil's best friend Foggy. However, she couldn't go through with it.

All of this seems to fit perfectly in the universe! Specially that Elektra is set to debut in Season 2 of Daredevil, a spin-off for the character would be amazing. So potential, so much storylines! Make it happen Marvel.

4: Cloak and Dagger

Meet Cloak, he has the abilities of intangibility, and the teleportation of himself and others through the dimension of darkness.

Meet Dagger, create psionic "light daggers" which travel wherever she wills them, and which drain living beings of vitality when struck. Her "light daggers" also have the capacity to cure certain persons of drug addictions.

Cloak & Dagger started out as merciless vigilantes, killing Marshall despite the interference of Spider-Man, who saw the duo as misguided innocents and gradually became their friend. After ill-fated assassination attempts on the crimelords Silvermane and Kingpin, Dagger became less ruthless and tried to steer Cloak in a similar direction; however, since his power compelled him to consume living beings, Cloak found it more difficult to follow this gentler path.

Cloak and Dagger, despite their sporadic appearances in the comics, have been fan favorites ever since their debut. They tagged along so many of our beloved heroes, especially Spider-Man. There were rumors of them getting adapted to the small screen, fingers crossed they do!

3: Squirrel Girl

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl!
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl!

Yeah I know what you're thinking, why? Well my friends, basically because this show can be a comedic genius. Squirrel is the cutest thing to ever happen in the Marvel Universe.

Squirrel Girl was originally created by writer Will Murray and artist Steve Ditko as a light-hearted, fun character typical of early comic books. She's funny, quirky, charming, and strong. Oh yeah, and she's the nanny of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones's daughter.

This could be an instant successful comedy show with a character like Squirrel Girl!

Her comic book "The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" has been critically acclaimed for its fun,and comedic tone. Not only that but as well for its empowering portrayal of Squirrel Girl.

Oh, and Squirrel Girl isnt just all fun and games, this girl can actually kick-ass. She single-handedly took down Doctor Doom thanks to her squirrels, yes Doctor Doom! They don't call her Unbeatable for nothing!

2: Blade

He's a vampire killer, he's immune to vampire bites, he's Blade.

Blade got his vampire powers after his mother got bitten by a vampire, cool eh? Mentored by Jamal Afri. As time went on he became an Olympic-level athlete and a formidable hand-to-hand combatant, with an expertise in edged weapons such as knives and daggers hence the nickname "Blade".

One of his enemies is Dracula. After Dracula killed Afri, and many of Eric's (Blade) friends, Eric was determined on hunting down Dracula, and killing him once and for all. Other than Dracula, its Deacon Frost, the person responsible for the death of Blade's mother.

Despite his huge fan base, Blade has been barely seen in the comics. However some of his best stories are Blade: Undead Again, and the Tomb of Dracula.

Although the movies didn't get much critical acclaim, they were fun! I hope we get a proper adaptation this time!

1: Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan

The Current Ms Marvel,Kamala Khan!
The Current Ms Marvel,Kamala Khan!

Khan is a teenage Pakistani Muslim American from New Jersey with shapeshifting abilities, who discovers that she has Inhuman genes in the aftermath of the "Inhumanity" storyline and assumes the codename Ms. Marvel from her idol Carol Danvers.

Kamala's debut was one of the best debuts to happen in Marvel, ever! The character got widespread acclaim. Aside from being Marvel's first muslim character, her book is a great read.It won the Hugo Award for best graphic novel in 2015!

The tv adaptation could focus on Kamala balancing her superhero life and her normal life together. The series can also explores Khan's conflicts with supervillains but also explores conflicts with Khan's home and religious duties, much like the comic. There's just so many potential.

With Carol Danvers getting her movie adaptation in Captain Marvel, the show can easily start with Carol passing the mantle on to Kamala.

If the comic book has been great success, just imagine what the tv series can possibly achieve! This is the show that marvel needs right now,in my opinion!

So that's my list! What's yours? Which Marvel character do you want to see get his own Netflix adaptation next?!
