The Exploits and Adventures of a guy who loves Pixar and Marvel on a journey to becoming an Orlando-Floridian filmmaker. You think you know what I can do? Then, you ain't seen nothing yet!

WARNING! If you have not seen Zootopia, do NOT read this article because I will be giving away crucial plot points and other stuff.

With that said, let's talk Zootopia...

While I said it was an okay film, I didn't hate it, I'll never say that it's bad, but at the same time, I would prefer to go see Kung Fu Panda 3 or Deadpool than this. Though, I will say that it's also surprisingly overrated just from the box office numbers to how it's done with the critics.

Though luckily, I haven't had people reacting like I said that this was terrible but they may be like...

But today, I'd like to talk about something that I think "Big Hero 6" did better than "Zootopia". And that would be...the villain twist.

I think some of us can agree that the villain twist in Disney's recent films is getting rather old...but here's the thing: Some would argue that people thought that The Duke of Weselton would be the villain in "Frozen" but turned out to be Hans. Though personally, I think there was more of a love interest twist than a villain twist whatnot with Hans being thought to be Anna's love interest but turned out to be Kristoff instead, but I digress. Though in "Big Hero 6", the villain twist worked out really well where it was thought that Allistair Krei would be wearing the kabuki mask but it was Callaghan instead. In "Zootopia" however, they have a complicated villain twist! In the promotional material, they made it seem like Mr. Big was the main villain, which they also did in the movie as well...

But then he's not so bad after all, then Nick and Judy think that Mayor Lionheart is the villain (which considering the way he treats Assistant Mayor Bellweather he may as well be) AND they have him arrested! But then in the last act, they decide to make Assistant Mayor Bellweather the true villain at the last minute.

And they don't even say (Former) Mayor Lionheart is innocent and let him go! Not to mention that they practically left Zootopia without a mayor.

All I can say is that, I'm not saying that Assistant Mayor Bellweather makes a terrible villain. In fact, take a look at "Toy Story 2" and "Toy Story 3". In those films, the main villains, Stinky Pete and Lotso are the villains of their respective films because they can relate to Woody and that they've gone through the things that Woody has feared like never being played with...

Or being replaced...

The point I'm trying to get across is that "Big Hero 6" did the serious villain twist really well and a lot better than "Zootopia" did.

And...

2016 is gonna be a lot like 2013 for Disney in their animation department where "Zootopia" becomes the best film of the year like "Frozen", "Finding Dory" gets just OK reviews like "Monsters University" did (if not somewhere in between "The Good Dinosaur" and "Cars 2") and "Moana" is just...there, right? RIGHT?!?

Why do I get the feeling?
