The premier trailer for Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children is here!
Based on The New York Times Best Seller by Ransom Riggs, the film tells the twisted tale of a teenager named Jake who finds himself on a mysterious island at a secret refuge for orphaned children who possess outlandish abilities. As Jake begins to realize that safety is all but an illusion, he starts to uncover danger in the most unlikely of places. Hidden enemies everywhere pose the question: Who can he really trust?
The film will star Penny Dreadful's Eva Green in the lead role of Miss Peregrine, along with an all-star cast including Chris O'Dowd, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson. It could be argued that it's been a relatively disappointing few years for Tim Burton — Big Eyes and Dark Shadows were hardly critically acclaimed hits — but if the trailer is anything to go by, this fantasy adventure could mark a return to form.
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children hits theaters on September 30.
