Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, massive news has just blasted onto my computer screen. Indiana Jones is BACK!!! That's right, Indiana Jones will return to the cinema screen on July 19th, 2019 for, once again, another adventure in the film series. Once again, Steven Spielberg will be directing the upcoming film, after directing the previous four movies but the main blockbuster news that I'm still amazed about…Harrison Ford will again reprise his role as Indiana Jones. Oh my goodness gracious me!

First off, I love Harrison Ford, both on and off screen, with his performances on screen being iconic characters including Indiana Jones, Han Solo from Star Wars and Rick Deckard from Blade Runner, and also his antics off screen when we heard that he always dresses up in ridiculous clothing for Halloween when he was interviewed on The Graham Norton Show. I'm a big, big fan of his and have been for some time…but…(now this is a spoiler warning for those who haven't seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which we all should have done by now, but any who…

Han Solo dies. Harrison desperately wanted this character to die in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, but instead got his wish when the film series was rebooted in 2015 with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Here's my issue: Why is Harrison Ford still up for playing Indiana Jones? The man is 73 years old! Good on him for doing the part again, but honestly, I'm really surprised. I don't want the character to be killed off, like Han Solo. I really wanted a reboot of the film series with a different actor playing Indiana Jones.

Every Indiana Jones fan has seen The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and honestly, they DO NOT want to see it again. When we saw old Indiana in the fourth film, there was something wrong. It just wasn't the same.

In conclusion, I'm really glad there's going to be another Indiana Jones film, with Harrison Ford. I don't want it to be like The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, that's my worry. I hope it will be great! Steven Spielberg is also back, which I am even more excited about, because, of course, he directed the previous films, he deserves to do it again. One word of advice to Spielberg though: PLEASE DON"T GET GEORGE LUCAS INVOLVED! We want to see Indiana beating the living hell out of some human villains, not some over-the-top plot about aliens…with Shia LaBeouf.

What are your thoughts? What do you think of Indiana Jones 5 and Harrison Ford coming back as the iconic character? Whatever you think, leave it in the comments below, and I'll see you next time.
