Cole Sprouse is striking out on his own — first with his burgeoning photography career, and now with a darker new 'do.
The former Suite Life Of Zack And Cody (he played Cody) star is returning to acting in order to play Jughead Jones on the CW's Riverdale, based on the Archie comics.
This will be the first time the recent NYU alum returns to life on camera after graduating with honors in 2015 alongside his brother, Dylan.
It seems almost inevitable that Sprouse would go back to acting, since he started out on screen when he and his brother were just 8 months old.
The twins got their start acting in a diaper commercial, but since that clip is nowhere to be found, here's one of them in their first major role as Patrick Kelly on the TV show Grace Under Fire. The boys stayed on the show for its entire run, from 1993 to 1998.
Cole played Julian "Frankenstein" McGrath from Adam Sandler's Big Daddy when he was just 6, along with his brother Dylan. But the scene where he asks for 30 packets of ketchup is definitely Cole, as he declared to Jay Leno in 1999.
Age 7 – 9
Cole first started to forge his identity outside of twindom by playing the role of Ben Geller, Ross's (David Schwimmer) son on Friends, without any participation from his brother. Here he is in 2001.
Here he is at the start of the Disney channel series The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody in 2005, playing one half of the two Martin twins, Cody.
And here he is again in 2011 at the end of the spin off series, Suite Life On Deck.
The beautiful blonde badass posted this pic to Instagram circa January 2016.
And here's one more shot, following his transition to brunette tresses. Looks like he's handling the change with flying colors.
