We all know that 2016 is primed to be the year of the comic book movie as we've already witnessed Deadpool's staggering arrival. And then when you add the upcoming releases of: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25th), Captain America: Civil War (May 6th), X-Men: Apocalypse (May 27th), TMNT: Out of the Shadows (June 3rd), Suicide Squad (August 5th) and Doctor Strange (November 4th) you've got quite a display ready for the viewing pleasure.

Yet just because there is an over-abundance of superhero/comic based films hitting the market this year, that doesn't mean that there aren't countless other movies that you should make sure to check out this year.
