I have a comic book coming out soon. I also tweet a lot about comics @KurtArthur12.

I am a very impatient person, I try to work on it; but it's so hard when all you want is to see Ms. Marvel or Miles Morales in the MCU! I like to stay impartial with Marvel and DC: because I love both of them equally. So, with DC's new cinematic universe -- we'll have to wait and see -- what we like and what we don't. But Marvel's MCU is in full-swing and with the introduction to another Civil War in the comics; it's time to start talking once again about future movies in the MCU!

The brain behind Marvel -- Kevin Feige -- talked with Collider last year and shared some interesting tidbits about when we'll see our new favorite heroes in the MCU:

“Well in the drawing board going up to 2019 it remains to be seen. The comics always make the path that we get to have the fun of saying, ‘Yeah let’s choose this way or let’s choose this way’ and I think there are a lot of cool things happening in the comics now that—it’s usually a five to ten-year cycle between when something happens in the comics and when we can do it in the movie, sometimes a little less, but Civil War is certainly about the 10-year mark. Winter Soldier, I think, was around that time. So we always look at stuff that’s happening in the comics and go, ‘Where could we do that?’ Sometimes it’s sooner, but there’s no reason why that couldn’t happen in the next decade or sooner.”

He also had these words to say about seeing some of our favorite LGBTQ characters in the MCU within the next ten years! I think it's a great idea to have all-different types of superheroes in Marvel. The superhero genre transcends culture and should include everyone. It's really just common sense; I don't understand the backlash that comes with certain casting announcements, or a different direction with a character. Oh, he said 'Yeah' when asked if there will be any LGBTQ characters in Marvel within in 10 years. Shall we take a look at how Marvel can incorporate some of our favorite new characters?

Ms. Marvel

Ms. Marvel's comics continue to be one of the highest-selling comics around. She's an Inhuman that loves Captain Marvel. This guarantees her exclusion from the television side and prompts her to the movies. She was created in 2014 -- by the awesome Sana Amanat -- so we won't be seeing her until Phase 4. This will give plenty of time to see Captain Marvel and The Inhumans -- to build the required background for her character. The more I think about; an A-Force movie sounds like the way to go. We'll see with the introduction of Wonder Woman in the DCEU if this is profitable for the studios.

X-23... As an Inhuman!

Before you bite my head off; I know she's a mutant and belongs in the X-Universe. With the recently successful Deadpool -- there's no chance of seeing the X-Men battle the Avengers any time soon. That's all right, Marvel doesn't need their help and vice versa. It's quite simple to have an Inhuman with re-generative powers and claws coming out of her hands. This would be amazing to see, especially with The Inhumans coming out. This is enough time possibly to see this on Netflix. Imagine Wolverine on a Netflix show -- that gives me chills throughout my body.

Silk & Spider-Gwen

With Dr. Strange and the shared-rights of Spider-man; anything is possible to see in the future of the MCU! They would be crazy not to do an adaptation of Dan Slott's Spider-Verse. Since it's a movie -- expect the the cast of characters drastically cut down. I would include the main 5: Spider-Man (Parker), Silk, Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales, and Spider-Woman (I mean the most popular characters from the comics). I would love to see Kaine in there and a few others; but it needs to be cut down, so the audience doesn't feel so overwhelm.

I would love to see a nod to Cindy Moon (Silk, she's introduce in the 616-Universe in the comics), in the upcoming Spider-Man movie. Of course the bad guy will be Morlun and The Inheritors. This would be epic to see on the big screen and it will allow Marvel to further separate from Sony's version by having Parker's powers have mystical properties. I believe that this will be one of planned movies released in 2020 -- it will follow the 5 to 10-years plan like Feige was talking about.

A New Thor

She's not going to be Jane Foster like she's in the comics. Natalie Portman is not the biggest fan of Marvel. But, I still think this is a smart-move on Marvel's part. They could either choose Lady Sif, or create a character for the movies. I think they should keep the dying part and have Thor's hammer come down from the sky and someone worthy picks it up (I all ready wrote a similar article about her, but this one I actually back-up what I'm saying with facts from Feige, both are great articles though!). This would be awesome and she doesn't have to have her own movie yet. This easily could be introduce in a post-credit scene of a movie. And then she could join up with the A-Force and kick some ass!

Conclusion

I know I left out Sam Alexander's Nova; primarily because I am not sure the best route for his introduction. These characters will make an appearance in the movies: due to the fact that we all love them! Marvel will finish their Phase 3 plans and then introduce us to a plethora of new characters from their comics. This makes sense; and I cannot wait to see all these amazing all-new, all-different heroes at the theaters! Who would you like to see in Marvel's Phase 4?
