[Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870) is a week away and we are all very much excited to see Batman and Superman going at it. One other key point in the movie that many of us are awaiting is Jesse Eisenberg's take on Lex Luthor. It seems to be a dividing factor between fans — especially after the second trailer, which many felt was cringeworthy. A lot of people still don't seem to see him as the supervillain genius billionaire he is supposed to be. It seems that — aside from also being all of that — he will also be a basketball player?

This of course doesn't mean we will be seeing Lex playing a full game in Metropolis, but we will get to see him make a 3-pointer. Jesse Eisenberg revealed he did in fact make the 3-pointer, but only after several fail attempts. In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon we got a little more behind-the-scenes info on this all-star moment from Lex. Apparently, Eisenberg felt confident enough to do the scene without a stunt double, but once the cameras were on, the pressure began. Here is what he had to say about the whole ordeal with the 3-pointer:

"…And then the character has to turn around and have this very confident, villainous greeting to these people, but I just looked like someone who had finally made a shot after 30 baskets, which is like, exhausted and apologetic."

It wasn't just the 3-pointer that proved challenging, it was the subsequent villainous greeting right after that added to the difficulty for Eisenberg in this one scene. I would like to applaud Eisenberg for taking the matter into his own hands and finally getting the 3-pointer in without any help. I mean, when you're Lex Luthor, though, who do you have to impress with the billions of dollars your company makes, right? You can catch the full story with Eisenberg and Fallon below:

This makes me feel a little more excited to see how good of a Lex Luthor he really will be. We all know that to play Luthor you do in fact have to play two different characters. On the one hand you have the public image, who is pretty much a good guy, but on the other hand you have the man who hates Superman with a passion. This is of course evident, with Luthor using Zod's body to create Doomsday to try and destroy the Man of Steel. It will be very interesting to see how Eisenberg will do as Luthor once Dawn Of Justice rolls out. I also can't wait to see that basketball scene as well, actually.

'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' will be released March 25th.

Do you think Eisenberg will make a good Lex Luthor?
