It was a move that every high school underdog wished they had/would have the balls to pull off at their school reunion: walk up to that evil clique of mean girls and whip their asses with something super impressive you've achieved since graduation. Like investing Post-its, for example.
It's been almost two decades since Romy And Michele's High School Reunion's release and the below scene still packs that victory punch. Kind of like the "big mistake, huge" scene in Pretty Woman but with more pastel satin.
Feels good, right?
And, seeing as Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino basically invented Post-its, as this '97 cinematic masterpiece acknowledges, the brand decided to thank her on their 35th birthday. How? With an awesome Post-it note bouquet, obviously!
The Friends star captioned the post:
Look what I got from Post-It! So thrilling to me!
Of course, the glue-based memo pads weren't the only thing to be invented within Romy And Michele's High School Reunion.
Ever heard of Lady Fair Cigarettes?
"Twice the taste in half the time for the girl on the go. I invented the quick-burning paper."
