(WARNING: The following contains potential cameo-related SPOILERS for a future episode of DC and The CW's "The Flash." Proceed with whatever level of caution that suggests to you is wise...)

Now, when it comes to major season-shaping cameos, pretty much everyone over at DC and the CW's The Flash is an old hand. After all, with countless multiverse-related antics happening almost every week, a whole lot of guest villains and two other shows in the Flarrowverse to cross over with, The Flash has become something of a hotbed of awesome cameos. So much so, in fact, that you'd imagine the show's cast would be able to handle pretty much anything that you threw at them at this point.

But the latest guest appearance that looks to be heading the show's way might just test that theory. Y'see:

It Seems That Jay And Silent Bob Might Be Heading To 'The Flash'

Yup, that's right. That Jay and Silent Bob. The pair of perpetually stoned slackers from Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse (and their own solo movie, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back) might just be heading to The CW and The Flash. The reason?

Well, y'see, not only is Smith directing an upcoming episode of the show's second season, but he also just posted this here image to Twitter:

Which, what with CC Jitters being a coffee shop within The Flash's universe, that guy on the right being Jason "Jay" Mewes, and that white backward cap that Smith is wearing looking an awful lot like Silent Bob's trademark headgear, sure does seems to be a hint that the not-so-dynamic duo will be turning up in the aforementioned Smith-directed episode of The Flash.

Which, seeing as both characters have appeared in comic book form (in non-DC comic books), would technically make a cameo an intercompany comic book crossover, a.k.a. the sort of thing that pretty much never happens.

Which would be awesome, especially since you can just imagine how much they'll irritate the hell out of the show's lead characters.

What do you reckon, though?
