Looking back, American movies from the '40s can be considered part of a golden age. Oscar Welles made 'Citizen Kane', Hitchcock's career was rising, the film noir genre made history and Hollywood's star system made audiences laugh and cry with Ingrid Bergman, Claudette Colbert, Greer Garson, Rita Hayworth, Spencer Tracy, James Stewart and Humphray Bogart, just to name a few. Well, its a pity that we didn't have superhero stories back then, right? Wrong! The Darth Blender team just released a new video thats show us how one of the most awaited movies of 2016 would look like if it had been made back in 1943.
'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' brings us all the elements a good superhero movie needs to have: the fight for justice, tension, great leader roles, the villain menace and, of course, one big surprise near the end of the trailer. Take a look at the link.
The footage used for this mashup brings 1940s excerpts from 'Superman" and "Batman" serials, both aired on theaters at a time TV was an expensive entertainment item.
