Yesterday, the man behind everybody's favorite rogue stormtrooper from Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens celebrated his 24th birthday. John Boyega was busy visiting the offices of Empire magazine, but that didn't stop his Star Wars co-stars from wishing him well through social media.

While Daisy Ridley went with an adorable posting of awesome fan art of Finn and Rey holding hands and a sweet message to her "favorite peanut," Star Wars legend Mark Hamill went a different route.

Hamill, who is known for being very active on social media, wished Boyega a happy birthday and used the opportunity to make a little parentage pun and throw Star Wars fans into a tizzy.

"Sonsational," you say? As impressive as Finn's lightsaber skills were, we're still not biting.

Hamill's addition of the Troll hashtag is a quick way to tip us off that he's only joking around. Perhaps Finn is a Skywalker, but Hamill knows better than to leak such a huge spoiler online.

A few fans weren't too happy with Hamill's trolling, but the Jedi of all things cool took all of the criticism in his stride.

Well, Mister Son Of A Bitch, I doff my hat to you. I guess we'll have to wait until 2017 to find out more about Finn's family tree.

'Star Wars: Episode VIII' will be released on December 15, 2017.

Do you have any theories about Finn's backstory?
