I'm just a movie buff in this interesting salad that we call life

It appears to me that there are tons of musicals and rock musicals alike that are based off of famous movies from the late 90's to early 2000's. There are also tons of musicals that are "jukebox" musicals, which usually have a paper thin plot and consist of famous songs by a certain artist or band. Case in point Rock Of Ages and Mamma Mia. But the genre of sword and sorcery has never been touched, until now. I'm in the process of writing a rock and roll musical that is a homage to the sword and sorcery movies of the 80's. The plot is all about a banished knight named Sir Daltrey who goes on a quest to save his land and his fair lady May from the clutches of the evil sorcerer named San. My first main goal is to stage it as a benefit/fundraiser for the Make A Wish Foundation. I already have a page for it on Facebook, just look up The Most Amazing Adventure. It pays homage to the fun cheesy action packed sword and sorcery movies of the 80's. Sure those movies were cheesy and oftentimes ridiculous, but they were fun. They will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember watching them all the time during summer vacation on cable television way back in the 90's. Hopefully this rock musical will reignite interest in the subgenre. Some of my favorites are The Beastmaster, Conan The Barbarian, Legend, Ladyhawke, Clash Of The Titans even though it's classified as sword and sandal, and Willow.
