(Warning - the following contains theoretical SPOILERS for future installments of the DC Cinematic Universe, and should thus be approached with whatever level of caution the presence of potential SPOILERS based on Henry Cavill's eyebrow movements suggests to you is wise...)
Now, for a gang of generally well-intentioned do-gooders, superheroes sure do tend to spend a lot of their time fighting one another. What's more, with this week's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and May's Captain America: Civil War both set to add two-and-a-half hours of cinematic superhero smackdown to decades of comic book battling, there doesn't seem much chance of the trend fading away anytime soon. Especially since...
Henry Cavill Just Seemingly Teased A Superman v Aquaman Fight In The Near Future
Y'see, while speaking at the recent Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiere, Cavill — who of course plays Superman in the movie — revealed exactly what he's looking forward to about the increasingly imminent Justice League movie:
"I'm looking forward to expanding on the DC Cinematic Universe and finally getting a chance to open up that world. There's a thousand and one rich stories in there, and I look very very forward to interacting with Aquaman, especially."
Now, written down, those comments could easily be taken to mean that Cavill is simply excited to work with Jason Momoa (perhaps he's a big Khal Drogo fan?). When you watch Cavill himself deliver them, though?
Well, that's a different story altogether...
Look at those eyebrows. Look at that grin. Look at that bloodthirsty, Atlantean-baiting glint in his eye.
That right there? That's a man with a plan (to punch Aquaman).
Justice League: Pt. 1, anyone?
What do you think, though?
Who do you think would win in a fight between Superman and Aquaman?
