Yes, Ron, this is very wicked, here's what we already know about Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: Harry Potter is the boy who lived because Voldemort tried to Harry, Hagrid told Harry that he's a wizard, Harry's parents were killed by Voldemort, Professor Quirrel had a second face which is Voldemort's, the three headed dog Fluffy was protecting the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry became the Quidditch seeker, to get to the stone, Harry, Ron and Hermione had to get pass Fluffy to the trapdoor, to devil snare, to get a very old fashioned rusty key, to a chess board and finally to Professor Quirrel.
1. Alan Rickman as Severus Snape
Alan Rickman was hand-picked to play Professor Severus Snape by J.K Rowling. Alan received special instruction from J.K Rowling as to tell him about his character. Rowling even provided Alan with vital details of Professor Snape's back story, which is not revealed until the final novel and movie.

6. Dropping Ideas
The filmmakers wanted to go to the extra mile of matching the kids appearances to how the novel describes them, by fitting Daniel Radcliffe with green colored contact lenses, and make Emma Watson wear fake buck teeth, but when Daniel's eyes reacted strongly to the contacts, and Emma couldn't talk clearly with the fake teeth in her mouth, so for those reasons the ideas were dropped.
7. Daniel Radcliffe Is Very Helpful
Richard Harris had trouble remembering his lines, but Daniel Radcliffe would ask him to help Richard practice his lines with Daniel.

Riddle engraved on it; the trophy with Tom's name on it, it's been confirmed to be heard from Ron in a deleted scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets when he tells Harry and Hermione in the hospital that he was cleaning trophies and saw Tom Riddle's trophy.

On the Quidditch trophy that has Harry's father's name on it, there are additional inscriptions for Professor M.G. McGonagall and R.J.H King, which R.J.H King is the supervising art director of this film.

Harry Potter's birthday is stated in the books to be on July 31, 1980, as for the author J.K Rowling was born on July 31, 1965. By coincidence, Richard Griffith was born on July 31, 1947. Although, Daniel Radcliffe was not born on July 31, he was actually born on July 23, 1989.
12. No Arthur Weasley?
This is the only Harry Potter film that does not feature Mark Williams, who plays Arthur Weasley, which is Ron's, Ginny's, Percy's, Fred's and George's father.
