Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice director Zack Snyder first got us freaking out about this DC Universe film 20 months ago at Comic-Con, when he dropped the first glorious teaser.
And it seems as if it was well worth the wait. One attendee at last night's New York City premiere at Radio City Music Hall described the event as a rock concert, as fans screamed when their beloved characters — Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman — appeared on screen.
Dawn Of Justice has already accumulated around $20-$25 million in advanced ticket sales domestically and the film hasn't even hit theaters yet. It is estimated that the film cost around $250 million to make.
But no sweat for the makers of Dawn Of Justice; it's expected to make $350 million during its opening weekend alone, as it will appear on 35,000 screens across the globe. This will make it the second best Easter/pre-summer debut, behind Furious 7's $397.7 million.
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice hits theaters on March 25.
