After Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation enjoyed widespread critical success and grossing more than $682 million worldwide, it came as no surprise that Paramount Pictures was quick to sign up for another adrenaline-pumping action installment. Already set to rejoin franchise star Tom Cruise are Rebecca Ferguson (Ilsa Faust) and director Christopher McQuarrie.

McQuarrie recently hosted a Twitter Q&A which was, naturally, riddled with fan-submitted questions about his work on the untitled M:I 6, which he is currently writing. In the midst of the Q&A, Jeremy Renner chimed in to see if there was a spot for William Brandt to return in Mission Impossible 6. Preferably in some assless chaps.

Not only is the exchange funny, but it also sounds like Renner is actually keen on making an appearance.

Tom Cruise. Jeremy Renner. Assless chaps. Mission: Impossible 6 hasn't even started production yet and it's already promising to be the ride of a lifetime. Maybe we should all start stretching in preparation.

Jeremy Renner can be seen next in Marvel's 'Captain America: Civil War,' out on May 6.

Would you like to see Jeremy Renner return in 'Mission: Impossible 6'?
