In light of the recent terror attacks in Brussels, Warner Bros. has opted to move forward with the London premiere of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, but the red-carpet press line has been canceled.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio released this statement:

Our hearts go out to the victims of recent terrorist attacks, their families and the communities impacted around the world. Rather than yield to terror, we’ve decided to join the film’s fans and move forward with the London premiere of Batman v. Superman this evening.

Since releasing the statement, the London premiere has indeed gotten underway, and security is on high alert following the twin bombings at a metro station and airport in the Belgian capital. Many movie theaters in Brussels were understandably closed, and it's unclear when they will reopen.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice opens Stateside this week on Friday, March 25.
