David Boreanaz earned the right to the official title of "heartthrob" playing the dark and brooding Angel on Buffy The Vampire Slayer back in the 1990s. 23 years later, and he's still just as dreamy as the day we met him. Let's look back on his hottest moments throughout his career and remember just why we fell in love in the first place.
'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' (1992-2003)
Angel was the original vampire dream boat. While it wasn't ideal for Buffy to fall in love with one of the most famous twisted vampire souls of all time, god was it hot! Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz had so much on screen chemistry it almost didn't matter that he was occasionally horribly evil.
Boreanaz was so good on Buffy, he snagged himself a spin-off before the show even ended. Starting in 1999, we had all Angel, all the time.
Leave it to Boreanaz to bring the rugged sex appeal into this horror/stalker flick. While his TV career was in full swing, he found the time to make this film, too.
Who doesn't love a man in a suit? Boreanaz landed the male lead on Bones back in 2005, and continued to impress audiences for the next ten years as Special Agent and loving father, Seeley Booth.
